Who we are and what we do
We are an international company that is constantly developing to meet the ever-changing market demands and the needs of our customers. Phillips Poland is one of the leading manufacturers of advanced electrical and pneumatic connectors used in the automotive industry, particularly in trucks, cars and agricultural vehicles worldwide. Our portfolio includes high-quality spiral cables, plugs, sockets, adapters, ABS and EBS connectors, pressure air pressure tubes and accessories. Phillips Poland is a European branch of the American company Phillips Industries, which for over 90 years has been a leader in its industry in the Americas, and for several years has been developing its technology and knowledge onto the European market. Phillips Industries has business units and production facilities in the USA, Canada, Mexico, China and Poland.
Our history
1928
H.W. Phillips establishes a company that deals with distribution of car parts.
1930
The first patented Phillips product comes is launched on the market. It is a reflective arm for signalling change of direction.
1963
Bob Phillips, the grandson of H.W. Phillips, becomes CEO. During 50 years of managing the company, he transforms the company from a mere distributor to one of the largest manufacturers of electrical and pneumatic connectors in the world.
1974
Phillips begins production of the first spiral, 7-core electric cable.
1978
Phillips celebrates 50 years on the market and opens its first plant where electrical connectors are produced.
1989
The Phillips production hall is expanded, new departments are built.
1997
The ABS system manufactured by Phillips becomes the leading system selected for the first semi-trailer truck assembly line in North America.
2000
The Phillips headquarters is built in Santa Fe Springs; it consists of a modern, multi-station production hall and an office complex.
2006
The Phillips branch in China is established – the first business unit outside of the United States.
2008
Phillips receives the Masters of Quality Award for best suppliers; the award is granted by Daimler Trucks.
2010
The company’s rapid development results in the establishment of another Phillips production plant in Mexico.
2017
Phillips Industries is increasingly directing its activities towards the development of new technologies for the transport industry. Phillips Connect Technologies (PCT) is created – a business unit dedicated exclusively to the development of new products and technologies.
2018
Phillips Industries celebrates its 90th birthday as a leading supplier and manufacturer of parts for the transport industry and establishes its first business unit in Europe (based in Poland).

We fulfill our mission, making sure that our development is sustainable and working environment is safe, and, above all, while creating a friendly workplace established on the basis of family values.

For us, the safety and reliability of our products is a priority. Each Phillips business unit has implemented an advanced quality management system and each product is subject to detailed inspections, which means we are ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified. Caring for the environment is equally important to us; at every stage of our work, we place emphasis on complying with the ISO 14001 standard. We are committed to active environmental protection and maintenance of health and safety at work.
